Fresh Fabric Treats—Progressive Dinner Fun!

If you have seen our Spring 2011 catalog, you already know about our new Moda Bake Shop book coming out in May, Fresh Fabric Treats. For those of you unfamiliar with the Moda Bake Shop, it is a fabulous online resource to find fun (and free!) sewing and quilting patterns, using the Bake Shop collection of pre-cut fabrics:  Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, Honey Buns, Dessert Rolls, Turnovers and Charm Packs.  Fresh Fabric Treats features all new designs from 15 of the most popular, innovative, and creative Bake Shop Chefs.

To give you all a taste of what’s to come in this book that Lissa Alexander from Moda Fabrics and I worked on together, Lissa has organized a fun blog tour…it’s like a progressive dinner! We’re sharing some different yummy projects from several of your favorite Moda Bake Shop contributors.

Each of these talented folks will feature their project with a great prize drawing for the book and some pre-cuts on their blog…the fun starts tomorrow!

Be sure to visit all the stops on this progressive dinner tour…and as an extra bonus, if you leave a comment on each and every one (dates and links below), you will also be entered to win a fabulous bundle of pre-cut fabrics direct from Moda (valued at $200), along with your very own copy of Fresh Fabric Treats the minute it’s released. Enjoy!

I’m so excited about your book. It has some of my favorite Moda Bake Shop designers and I can’t wait to see more projects using the pre-cuts I love. Although the Fat Quarter Bundles and Layer Cakes are my favorites, I can’t always afford them in all the wonderful fabrics that are available. Hence, I more often treat myself to the less expensive pre-cuts so I can have a taste of every fabric in a particular line. This book will help me see more possibilities. Thanks.
