My kitchen is featured in Fresh Fabric Treats!

The talented photographers behind all those gorgeous images found in Stash Books titles are always on the hunt for locations, props and models. Almost weekly, the photo studio sends out company-wide emails asking for anything and everything from knick-knacks, hats, shoes, and vases to rocking chairs, kids, moms, living rooms, and this recent gem of an email from photographer, Diane Pedersen: “Does anyone have a unicorn? We are considering all styles of unicorn: stuffed animal or plastic.”

While I wasn’t able to come through with a unicorn, I was able to fulfill a need last summer when the request for a black and white kitchen came through for Fresh Fabric Treats. I showed photographer, Christina Carty-Francis, a few pictures of my kitchen and we set a date for the shoot. Now that the book has officially been released, I can share the fun behind-the-scenes images from the photo shoot.

The above picture of Christina and her fancy camera is a photo that I took while she was shooting the picture that’s featured on page 13 of the book (below).

Here is another photo I took:

And the image found on page 6 in the book:

We ventured into my backyard also. The below image is Christina taking the photo found on page 24 of Fresh Fabric Treats.

Below is the final picture found in the book.

It was super fun to be able to take part in a Stash Books photo shoot. As Publicity Manager, I work on promoting the books once they are published, so it’s not often that I get to be involved in the “behind the scenes” making of our books. I can honestly say, it was a treat!
