Free project—Sweetwater potholder

potholder

Here’s a something fun to make, straight out of Sweetwater’s Simple Home. This book and all the projects inside are so fresh! Just by reading the book, before even engaging in the projects, you almost feel cleansed.

The women of Sweetwater suggest… “surrounding yourself with things you absolutely love, that give you a sense of serenity…personal, handmade items can give you that feeling of calmness, as well as a sense of pride and accomplishment.”

You can go for that feeling too, starting with this Circle Potholder project on page 32…click here to download.

Here are details on Insul-Fleece® , and click here for binding tutorials.

Have fun sewing this weekend!

Can’t wait to get my hands on some of that fabric. So darling. Made something similar out of pure for Christmas only made ovals and made them mitts. Plus made aprons. For all the girls and women in my family. Adore sweetwater
