Nancy DeWeir Geaney

Nancy learned her sewing technique from her seventh-grade home ec teacher, as well as at home, from her three sisters, mom, and grandmother. She went on to become a fashion model, and Vogue Patterns magazine even did a feature story, “Nancy Sews.” The needles and pins were put away for a time when her daughter and son were small, but emerged again with a vengeance about ten years ago. With the inspiration and encouragement of Sis Boom designer Jennifer Paganelli, Nancy started designing and sewing quilts of her own.
