I was still on the fence as to whether we would catch the trend in book form until something fabulous happened: Mary Abreu sent in her book proposal!
Instead of a book filled with random patterns, Mary’s proposal for Little Girls, Big Style was all about building a wardrobe on just four straightforward basics: A bodice, a top, a pair of trousers and a skirt. Really. Just four basic patterns and the rest is all variations and embellishments that encourage you to make endless iterations of the basics. What could be simpler than that?!
